Each job is personally overseen by Managing Director James Carter, from start to finish, and we place as much effort and care into building great relationships with our clients as we do their structure.
New Homes
We offer two options for those looking to build a new home:

Design and build
Design and build is the best option for those who want the convenience and consistency of having one firm take care of everything.
During the design process, we'll work with you closely to understand every dimension of your vision, from its look and layout to its functionality and ambiance. Our advanced design computer software means you have the reassurance of watching your design unfold in high-end, 3D graphics, with the ability to change and tweak it as we go through the process.

New Build
Under our New Build option, you can choose to have an architect or draughtsperson design your home, and we take responsibility for all building aspects, maintaining close communication throughout the build.
Whichever option a client opts for, often we assume the project management role, co-ordinating day-to-day management and overall outcomes. We also take care of the many logistical, administrative, and labour responsibilities, including:
Building consents, including arranging inspections
Sourcing materials
Supplier liaison
Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors
Overall project management
Regular and committed client communication
Renovations
Changing an existing home is often a great way to capitalise on your current asset, whether you’re looking to provide more space for a growing family, maximise current space or improve older features.
Regardless of your requirements, it’s important it melds seamlessly with the rest of the house. We are passionate about our renovation and alteration work for this very reason - there are no better projects to truly test not just our team's building skills, but our craftsmanship.

Bespoke Joinery
The BJ Carter team can custom make high-quality woodwork in their factory, for your new build or renovation project.

We offer a regular maintenance service, ensuring your home or commercial premise is in optimum condition, and saving you money in the long run.
This involves the initial check, and carrying out any required remedial work; and our skills are used to repair breakages, including managing insurance work, or general wear and tear.
